so while watching a video I hit the auto closed caption button, this shows youtubes guessed text about what is being said .... not much use if you do not read that language....
But in the settings (cog icon) there is an option to translate into many different languages.... some of the comments are a bit odd
let's not forget how the algorithm got the text..
it listened to a foreign language
but it does help if you are already interested in the topic.
