adding a GB to a Deleon

Hi I am new here and have what only someone who doesn't know better what may be a simple question to ask? How diffucult would it be to add a manual GB control to a Tesoro Deleon?

I know that the lifetime warranty will be voided but wonder if it would be a simple as relplacing the internal not so adjustable component with a few leads and a multi turn component?
