Artificial intelligence is what is imposed on it, artificial intelligence will never be able to have ideas like a human being! So I don't believe in miracles, because a lot of things in the past were advertised in the same way. And in the end, nothing was in reality as it was advertised, even though people were throwing a lot of money at stupid things.

I agree with you.
But you missed the main point.
And that is my personal fear and horror of how today, right now, at this moment; AI is heavily abused by various charlatans.
We have not yet reached the problem of AI displacing humans from everything.
It's the damage that comes later... if we manage to survive this phase until then; the phase where madmen use AI for political purposes.
A huge number of "breaking news" from war-torn areas are generated with the help of AI.
No, these are not live people, reporters from the scene.
Investigative journalists who bravely went there and report from there.
No, it's a text written by an AI, supported by images and videos that are additionally "processed" in some graphically oriented AI, too.
The worst thing about the whole story is that the characters who keep their finger above the "red button" are also uneducated, mindless and not very intelligent charlatans.
Who also understand this whole story about AI rather laconically.
The world has never been in greater danger, and the emergence of AI does not help, on the contrary; it just speeds it all up.
AI is a good tool... in the hands of the wrong and bad people.

No George for a long time.
Carl would, it seems; welcome another admin.
Feel free to apply; you have my support.
But there is not much to administer, the activity on the forum has dropped terribly.
Am I the only one who notices this and is bothered by it?
What about people? Where is their enthusiasm?
It is impossible that the whole story about metal detectors will be reduced to the mere observation of "new" models,
which are more and more uniform.
Did the complete transition to the digital domain lead to this?
The beauty of this hobby is the experimentation.
First of all, I mean electronics and not the mere use of metal detectors. All other forums deal with that.
Digital domain, direct sampling and increasingly powerful digital resources; all approaches seem to lead in the same direction and have the same end result.
That's how AI is connected to this story.
Although this topic seems to have no concrete idea; the idea is actually a critique of what's going on in the world of metal detectors.
As if everything comes down to a total reduction of human inventiveness.
Exactly the opposite of the essence of this forum.
Everyone fell silent. They all disappeared. Lethargy, monotony, apathy.
Put this topic wherever you want; the truth remains.

New students from Google know more... That's why we got nowhere! It will be increasingly gloomy, difficult times are for a second until 12 o'clock...
Madness has reached its end!
