I don't understand why you have problems uploading the sketch?
Just sketch by hand on paper and take a picture with your phone, then "Copy&Paste" that picture directly into the field for writing/editing the post...
I understand to some extent what your idea is.
But I don't understand why you think anything will slip with this approach?
Now I turned the orientation to the natural position during the pulling of the probe out of soil.
OK, you've understood the 45 degree suggestion, it's just the 90 degree one you've not grasped, you're doing -90 when I mean +90. I repeat: the U-slot needs to be like a U when you're pulling the probe out , you're drawings show it horizontal, like a C when you're pulling the probe out.
The loop of string / rope is the simplest tool. About 25cm diameter. Hook it around each nut/peg, and use the rest of the loop as a handle.
Don't get me started on my forum issues since the upgrade earlier this year. It's almost unusable. I had to use great tech skillz to even log in. Most 'buttons' don't work ( including the "edit/quote/flag/like" ones below every post ), I can't even type text posts without resorting to html; without typing I can't even do a new-line. Forget about attachments, if I have to post something complicated, I have to use the public library computers. ( that's how I got logged in. Used Firefox in the library, copied the log-in cookies with 'developer tools' into a .txt file, saved on a USB stick. Then on my PC, pasted the cookies into my Firefox. Thus circumventing the non-functional log-in boxes).

Okay, now I finally get it.
Yes, you are talking about orientation.
At the moment of pulling, the "U" should be upwards, as it is normal letter "U".
OK, clear!
It can be done of course.
As far as forums go, there's no one who always complains about everything more... than me.
I think I bored Carl about that. If you've been wondering why Carl hasn't had much hair lately...
But over time one gets used to it and finds some easy methods to overcome shortcomings in the forum engine.
From the initial indignation and great dissatisfaction... over time I became very satisfied with some novelties on the forum.
Now it's much easier for me to insert multiple pictures, sketches and the like in the same post.
And to edit the whole post so that it looks clear and good.
It took me a couple of weeks until I got used to it and started finding various "tricks" to do this or that.
I'm using Win10, Chrome browser... nothing special.
My problem is I'm stuck with Windows Vista ... which then limits my browser version choices. And they all have the same issues, Opera and Firefox seem similar in what the do / don't do, they seem the best option, but both make a total dog's dinner of this forum. Before the upgrade, I had no problems at all, a 3-year old browser can handle a 10-year old Vbulletin forum , as you would expect. But V5.7.1 is a headache.. I really need to find a workaround so I can edit posts, that's a particular nuisance.

Windoze Vista was never any good, even was it the latest version!
I have two laptops. One with Linux Mint and Firefox, and the other with Windows 10 Pro and Edge. The former is used 99% of the time, and the latter is only used to run a few programs that won't run under Linux.
There are no problems with the forum on either laptop.

Exactly!
Vista was never good at all!
I skipped it and passed to Win7 at the time, because I heard so much negative feedbacks on it in those times...
Probably Skippy need to "refresh" a bit his hardware too.
I can't tell. But laptops and desktops able to run Win10 are cheap today.
Win10 22H2 is not too demanding. Will run smoothly on many older machines as well.
8GB of RAM at least and SSD drive... and you will not believe it is the same old machine you have it!
And Win10 is free of charge. So no reason not to skip on newer platform.
So .... do a skip Skippy!
I think you could make a successful extractor tool from a length of steel tubing. It needs a bore slightly larger than your probe rod, and a reasonably thick wall. Drill the holes where the probe pegs go, then cut out the remaining metal with a 'wire saw' ( Abrafile ) or similar.

ivconic, please share information about the number of electrodes, the distance between them, the area of the treated area, etc. all indicated in the picture. Thank you.
Artyom : See post number 44 for the instructions.
I think the big variable is the ground moisture. The rod spacing could vary, depending on this. Wet ground would suit spaced-out rods, drier would favour closer spacing.
Apologies, that was intended to read Post number 14.
Probes are 1.2m apart in a line 12m long [10 probes]; spacing between the two lines is from 3m up to 6m.
