What do you think of the new Arduino Uno R4? a nice project could come from the specifications.

My first look at the 'UNO R4' Minima. (The version without Wifi)

It's a significant jump in capability and specs compared to the 'normal' UNO and the main features are:

      48MHz Clock (three times quicker)
14 bit analog input (16 x more resolution)
and faster analog read.. just how fast see below.

My PI detector uses an Arduino, and on a 'normal UNO' I can get nice stable pwm pulse (great) and a 10 bit sample every 13uSec (~77 kHz sample rate) . So, a few samples, say one at 15uSec, one at 27 uSec, and a one for 'efe' at 200uSec. ?

      On this UNO R4,
we can get 20 samples in 70uSec, at 14 bit resolution ! ,
      sample rate ~ 300kHz.

Basically an 'oscilloscope reading' of the entire signal, 500 times a second. It's a super computer for $34
