In a reprinted version in Portuguese I read that this BFO can detect an only coin at 90 cm in dry terrain. No!!! So search for the original in English (I bought), and yes, the same depth, but in foot. There are special consideration in construction as separate decks in metalic enclosure and other... Good notice: uses potentiometer, no variable cap. Hope that my interpretation of derivate coil is correct...
