  • Fisher 1236x

Today as I awaken, my eyes open up,
the first thought of the day, was, hrmmm, wonder if the mail's been here yet.
so I grab my cup of coffee and ask dad if it has,
and he tells me in a gruff tone, yes it has son, go out to the mail box and bring it in.
so I go out, check the box and there was 4 letters in it, one for me (junk mail) one for my brother and a couple for my dad.
I was sad, because I was expecting my new fisher 1236x (used) to come in the mail today, that I had bought offa e-bay retevily cheeply (110.00 usd)
I was happy to be the winner of it, and was kinda afraid of all the bad things you hear about e-bay theese days, like the scams and all that.
    but nope, not this time.
it was only a couple days ago, I paid for my unit, offa paypal and I was worried the individual wouldn't ship my detector as promised, but he did, he did, and I am so pleased that I didn't get burnt.
it took me quite a while, and alotta work to save up that 110.00
but I surely didn't wanna get ripp'd off.
    so any way....
later today, I was wondering if the mail man was going to deliver my detector monday, today is saterday by the way.
and I went out side to check on our dog and comeing back inside the house, there sitting like a present from santa clause him self, was a long slim box, with beautiful usps postal markings all over it.
I couldn't believe what I was seeing, allready, this soon is what I was thinking.
maybe I was dreaming, and wasn't really awake yet.
so I take the big box inside to my disbeleife, and beguan the tedious unwraping procedure and sipp'd uppon my yummy nescafe.
there befor my eyes once again, a slightly used beautiful'er then I could ever immagine, Fisher 1236x in all it's glory and wrapp'd in bubble wrap.
I own a couple of old compass non discriminators, but this is my first ever fisher and man am I happy.
my friend and I would go out for hours, searching parks, yards, dumps or anywhere we could hunting up fresh battery money and a few old tokens and occasionally a silver ring or 2.
he had a 1212x, I had my compass.
now I got a really cool fisher and I remember his and I wishe'd for like ever that I had one.
this is the first time I could scrape up enough change to finnaly purchace one and yanno I'll be wearing a hole in that coil befor spring sets in.
luckily it came with fresh copertop batterys in it and a pretty new coil cover (o:
    I got a deal of a lifetime.
see you guys out there, and I hope we all do better.
Happy Th'ing, and i'll be posteing my new finds as soon as the weather allows, here in Central Washington state, and man is it ever winter, but that don't discourage no one from th'ing (o:

    1235x blues

as I ake up earlier then yesterday rareing to go, no coffee just me and my trusty lil fisher, which I haven't even used yet, setfort to gain our abundance's of wealth.
what do you you know, there, befor my eyes. smack dab in the middle of the front yard, and by the way everywhere the big "s" word )o:
we got hit by a hurricane it looked like, everything was white, I could barely stand to look, as I thought of all the gold and silver beautiful objects that were right there, ready to be harvested, just inches under the freshly packed snow.
oh it was so terrible, I felt like crying, but, if I had, they woulda been icebergh's, cause of the damn temprature.
I wanted to use my new Fisher1235x, yes it's a 1235x and I didn't get a manual for it, but heh, who needs one, right ?
should be turn on and go anyways.
so anyways, there I was, standing neck deep in the horribal "s" word and freezing my bum off and decided to just say, hrmph, maybe tomorow the snow'll melt and I can get to the goodies, ain't no one brave enough to bear theese eliments till I get to 'em.
I got piccy's here look how sad it is )o:

          1235X

I have the 1236X2,nd it is very good in trash.
I think the only difference is the silencer switch.
Only problem is using disc it WILL seperate coin among trashbut then In PP mode have to search each handfull of dirt, often finding several nails before finding Coin.
A sunray probe would be a great addition,But it is hard to justify buying a probe that costs more than the detector.
Let me know what YOU think of the 1235x.
          Happy Hunting,Mont
