  • BOUNTY HUNTER JUNIOR

    Hello friends
    I have a metal detector BOUNTY HUNTER JUNIOR , unfortunately the transmitter and receiver coils have been cut off and The number some of ICs on the board have been clear.
    Dear professors, can someone share the schematic and information of this metal detector.
    Thanks

    i did especial instruction how to do perfect pictures, but oftop subforum was deleted. so i repeat.

    1. wash the board by water and brush moving. from the dust. dry it.

    2. do pics under open sun, at open air. slight cloudy will be yet more nice.

    3. mark all wires to board by color paints, near pads put same color too. if you will solder back and you must see full correspondence wire-pad.

    4. suggestion to buy chinese TRANSISTOR TESTER kit. then you can measure L and C of coil.

    pleasure

      I also ask Ivconic and other people do not post circuit from the Archive now. BE PATIENT. I wait the exchange by info.

        I measured the capacity and resistance of the two coils of the above metal detector, the outer coil has a capacity of 7.6 Ohm and 2.51 mh and the inner coil has a capacity of 9 Ohm and 2.51 mh.
        On the original board, there is a letter written at the connection point of the search coils B R G W, which is probably related to the color of the wires inside the connecting cable between the coils and the original board.

              Hello Friends
              two questions:
              _According to the measurement of the ohmic value and self-capacitance of the two coils of the metal detector, which one is the TX coil and the RX coil? Can we say that considering that the inner coil's ohmic value is greater than the outer coil, the transmitting coil is the inner coil and the receiving coil is the outer coil?
              what should be the order of connecting two coils to the specified points on the fiber?(B R G W) Are the two coils connected in the same direction to the circuit or are they connected in opposite directions?
              best regards

                you have to sure find up in your coil 4 parts:

                1. TX coil
                2. RX coil
                3. feedback coil
                4. balance turn. it is just one turn.

                TRY. you have to SEE THAT CLEAR.

                  The outer coil is the TX.
                  Red = RX+
                  Black = RX-
                  White = TX+
                  Green = TX-

                    Thank you Mr. kt315 and Karl-Nc
                    Another question:
                    There are 5 metal pins on the disk of the coils to connect the wires, 4 pins are for the wires of the loops.
                    Is it necessary that the communication cable between the coils and the fiber circuit is shielded and one part of the shield must be connected to the S point?(circuit ground)

                      another asking. do your Home Work best.
                      wash by water your pcb and send me pics of the board in HR (high resolution - HR). HR is 5+ mb pics.

                        Yes, connect the cable shield to RX ground.

                          Thank you for answering my questions
                          On the electronic board of the metal detector there is a potentiometer (R2) that adjusts the waveform obtained from the first comparator (U1.1) of the receiver part .
                          this the waveform must be done at the test point p4.
                          Does anyone have the test point waveform?
                          Best regards
