  • Arduino oscilloscope to check damping resistor?

Wondering if its possible to use an Arduino scope to check the damping resistor on my Surf PI, I think most of them are 1ch, but would I have to have a 2ch version if its doable.

I came across this for reference, https://www.instructables.com/Make-a...art-Mega2560-/

The other alternative was to use my PC's sound card and the Zelscope software.
Ive already made a LCR circuit to use the sound card and it works quite well once calibrated. (checked a commercial 2.7mH coil at 2.74mH)

So I plucked up the courage and ordered a DS212 dual channel scope as I figured Id need it to check the damping resistor as well as look at the wave forms.
Its maybe doable with a single ch, but I didnt want to faff back and forth with 3 test points.
Needless to say Im quite happy with it.
Delay main sample in yellow below, just as the coil is coming out of saturation.
Not something that would have been done with a DMM only.

Yes, a decent oscope is a must-have for building detector circuits. So, I know nothing about the Arduino oscope.

Here's an interesting video of the DS212 ->
