  • Can single frequency detectors work well in salt and/or magnetite ground?

    Hello.

Is it possible to design a single frequency detector that would achieve about the same depth and ID accuracy of SMF detectors in high magnetite ground? Is it possible to design a single frequency detector that would achieve about the same depth and ID accuracy of SMF detectors in salt ground?

MF will have an advantage in both cases, but SF can be made to work. With SF, you make the GB adjustable from ferrite all the way to salt. Several commercial SF detectors can do this.
