What MCU uses White's XLT?

Hi to all! I have old XLT that has 2 MCU (Freescale)
MC68HC705C8CP and MC68HC711E9. I am wondering if the new XLT (E-Series) has them the same or are new type, also if i can upgrade the old MCUs with the new ones. I think the circuit of them both are identical.

Hi GTK,

I have a small collection of very rare 68HC11E9's with a UV erase window (re-programmable) if you run into a brick wall.

What about that - is it true that XLT v1.1 differs only in the software?
Are the new MCU the same type or new ones?
