Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_20241217_112649.jpg Views:	0 Size:	674.4 KB ID:	431683Digga..first of all you need to ask yourself...at what depth did you find the coin-sized targets..let's say 2 centimeters in size..?

If you have really light terrain..the detection range of powerful modern detectors on 11"-13" coils should be really large..
detection of such a target is possible at a depth of 40cm and more..

Here it also depends on what target you are looking for..very low conductive ..low-conductive, medium-conductive,, or high-conductive?..coin size?. Because the working frequency of the detector can have a certain degree of significant influence on the detection range..

    Light terrain allows..for:
1...use high detector settings which have a great influence on the detection range..
2..light terrain attenuates the signal very little...and in the optimal case you can get such a detection range on the target..very similar to the range on the target in AIRTEST..

    in AIRTEST..

it should look something like this..like in my testing...

    Terain test:

    AIR TEST:

I am only giving these tests as an example...

In airtest I use coins of the same size but different conductivity to find out the sensitivity and range of a given detector and coil frequency.. on targets of different conductivity...

Good evening, the deepest there is is a Gpx with an 18" DD coil, you will not have a rival, that is a man-killer, very stable, I don't think Nexus has that stability in all terrains. With that it will go where no one goes and then You can put an 18" Mono coil (it will give more depth with a little less stability in mineral terrain) or a 22" DD, by the way Nexus makes extra large diameter Coil for Gpx.
