Hello fellas and gals.
I am wanting to try my hand at building an analog meter for my Sovereign Elite.
I am currently using a digital meter, and it has been modded to the 180 scale. I like it alot, but, I was reading somewhere about a Patriot meter, and that it was able to distinguish between copper and and silver. I am assuming a penny like 1972, and a modern dime.
On my meter, these 2 targets would both show 180.
What I would like know is:
1) is it possible to have this type of accuracy and precision between these 2 targets. With everything being the same so to speak.
2) is the Sovereign meter a Voltage (E) meter or a Current (I) meter?
3) For the analog meter to be used in this project, if there is no markings of any kind on it, How can I measure the meter's sensitivety? I would think the more sensitive it is, the better. Ohms per volt, I think.
Thanks for any help.
