    Dear Sirs,

The YouTube channel owner is testing with a 42cm coil attached to TGSL. Is it actually possible to make such a large coil and make it work well? Or is coil the commercially available product? If anyone has successfully made such a large coil using TGSL, please share the information about the coil's construction. Or if you have any advice, support, or tips related to such a large coil, I would appreciate it if you could reply to this thread. The main detector can be either TGSL or IDX Pro.

I am a Japanese hobbyist, so English is my second language. This English has been translated by Google, so I apologize if it is difficult to understand.

Sorry, the thread about coils should have been posted under "Coils"!

Get some wire and try some variations, it's fun.

Aside from perhaps losing some sensitivity to smaller items, I don't see why it would not work. There are some large commercial coils made for the Tesoro.

Tesoro also made a big rectangle coil at one point, a 18"x3" (45x8cm). If you want to make a coil I would find out the resistance and inductance of this coil to simulate. https://md-hunter.com/wiki/tesoro-18x3-dd/ You would have to verify if this works for the TGSL, I'm not sure without further research.

I've never seen such a coil before. It's amazing.
