I came across a couple of ATIMDs for repair, to my surprise when i opened them i found that these detectors have 2 front ends they can operate on PI or CW mode. don’t know why the company has added lot of complications to the circuit. Might be to make them operable in mineralized soils.
But whatever the reason may be in CW mode ATMID is very sensititive.
Would love receive more info and field use about these detectors…………
