Your diagram is interesting. I always assumed that the transmit and receive cores in the cable needed to be screened from each other to prevent capacitive coupling between them, but maybe it isn't important after all (I'm still learning about this stuff). If one overall screen is good enough, it makes it a lot easier to find suitable cable. Does anyone have experience of using cable with one screen compared to cable with separate screening for Tx and Rx cores? Or is it unimportant?

Not the case at all coils i have been seen so far. I checked at original Tesoro coil and it is like on my draw. So i am right.
Similar (if not the same) cable was used at many White's coils, Cscope coils, at some Fisher coils etc...etc..etc..
Case you are mentioning i meet at Minelab coils mostly.

ivconic, for testing i use this old cable from pc keyboard... but also this it have 5 smaller inside and a shield with foil and fence arround... The helical style of cable is not suitable for outside?? i have and a cable from newest keyboard ( in photo ) with 4 smaller inside and shield...

This metal round case 10cm diameter is detecting on 50cm in the air, without adjust, only with ground balance adjustment with ferrite rod.
if i constuct a bigger coil with the same inductance in TX and RX the results will be better???

Hi ivconic new results!!! the detector one 2euro coin it detects it in 20cm distance in the air with a little testing adjustments with ground balance only..

Good...progress. But it must be better. Now be patient and try to adjust coils better. With a bit more effrot you will gain better results.

I will try with bigger coils with the same prices of L in TX and RX or with OO coil, or one better DD

No,no. Coils from 20 to 28cm are most suitable for any kind of searching. TGSL works excellent with 22cm DD coil and also excellent with 27cm coil.
What you have to do now is to try to make best possible coil for it. If you can't get 30cm in air on 1e coin, and at the same time total rejection of ferrite rod and 100% stability...than your coil is not exactly good.
If you made 6mh and 6.5mH coils with 0.27/0.28 resin wire (0.25mm without resin) than caps in TX/RX are not exactly precise. Either experiment with caps (22,220nf in TX and 15nf in RX) either make another coil with 5.8mH and 6.2-6.3mH. You must experiment a bit to get best results. I made many coils so far. Each next was a bit better from previous one. Differences are in small details. Very small details. And most important moment is proper nulling.
A little bit of practice you need. Experiment. PCB now looks ok, it must be good (as i can see from photo).

I do not suggest larger coils...at least not over 27cm. You will not achieve more sensibility on 1e coin and also you will loose some stabillity with TGSL.

For me....TGSL and Eldorado are best. Bandido is also good, but to make it right you have to find original opamps. I tried with substitutions and it is not working so good.
Silver Sabre...hmmm....i make 3 so far but only one is working very good. At other 2 devices i have stabillity issues which i couldn't solve fast so i abandoned them (i am not used to scratch my head much ).
Royal is very simillar to TGSL and Eldorado...i didn't want to make it.
Lobo...i never made it but it is interesting to me. Maybe i will make it in future.
