You have to be careful with TO-92 transistor pinouts. See page 202 of ITMD where are three examples from Europe, Japan, and the USA.

    • Hi friends!!
I made the measurements with the oscilloscope at the DISC stage and I had the following measurements at 5V, 20uS on both channels.
Test point 9 DISC set to minimum.Click image for larger version

      • I hope the measurements are correct. If there is something wrong I hope you let me know so I can continue with the next stage. Here a photo of the PCB.Click image for larger version

        • Keep in mind that the scope shots are real. But somehow it works.

          Proceed with haste.

These devices aren't built with putting on the shelf.

They are meant to find treasure...

          • Thank you very much banner, for the advice.
I would move fast but lately I'm busy, I'll do my best to finish this project.
The most important thing for me is that I want many to benefit from the information that I am publishing about the TGSL. I don't know much but I do what I can.

                      • Hi friends!!
I want to know what Field Effect transistors I can use, I don't have the J107 nor the BF245; I can't find them in my local store I only have the 2N3819, NTE312, 2N4392 and the 2N4393.

According to what I have seen in the J107 datasheet, the Vgs is -0.5V min. and -4.5V max.
The one that can replace it according to what I have is the 2N4393 according to the datasheet the Vgs is -0.5V min. and -3V max.
I'm looking forward to any advice on this, I'd appreciate it.

That one should work. Just double check the pin out.

I am in block number 5 and I was measuring with the oscilloscope in the Gate of TR4, which is the signal coming from the DISCO, the measurements were taken at 5V, 20uS.

Gate TR4 of the DISC set to minimum.Click image for larger version
