I just searched statistics. Metaldetector107 has 114 posts so far. Each post is staritng with :

"...Max QiaozhDear max qiaohz please help ..",
"..Dear Ivco Qiaozh Kt Max ..",
"..Dear Qiaozhe ...",
"..Dear Ivco Max Qiawzhe all friends please .."... etc...etc...etc...

It is always "HELP" , " i need.." , " ..problem.."!

Statistics:

- "help"....27 times,
- "dear"...69 times,
etc...etc...


Misspelled nicks like " Ivco, Qiaozh,Qiawzhe,Qiaohz,kt...." - endless!
Neither one time...and i will repeat; NEITHER ONE TIME nick spelled right!???

Always asking and always some trivial and stupid questions.
On absolute all of these questions there are answers and explanations through 154 pages of largest thread on this forum.
Obviously man is either total idiot and has no brain at all - either he is doing this purposely.
For what reason? Simply to nerving other members, to spoil and polute forum. To spam and to dilute all the subjects.
I am awared that there are pretty sick and mad people on this planet. But this does not mean those are free to do what ever they want.
There are special institutions for such lost cases.
We are not obligated here to suffer from such behavior.

In attachment i am posting simple .txt file with all md107 posts so far. I deleted only headers to make file smaller.

I'm not inclined to ban someone for asking questions, even if they are basic and repetitive. If you don't like someone, then please ignore them and move on.

I constantly get emails with the following:

"Please send me best PI schematic."
"What is best detector circuit to build?"
"What is best LRL?"

I used to answer them, but then it became obvious that some of these emails came from the same people over & over & over. It didn't matter what I told them, they would ask again. So I quit responding. I'm not mad at them, but I'm not going to waste my time, either.

I try to explain LRLs don't work... but still new messages arrive... and many I think from same people.

As extreme solution I'm thinking at auto forwarding anything that has "LRL" in subject to Esteban's email address!

once i asked Max and he said i should match RX with TX by using free oscilator so i took the TX oscilator from TGSL only to make LC tank,
also he gave me an example but it abit hard for me to understand because my english is not so good or may due to less experiance of electroncs
so i will be greatful of you can help abit.. dont fogrget that the most shining thing in the world is helping others when need you.
i made only oscillator to use as a free oscilator then using paralel with 15n cap with coil to match the frequency,

You need to buy an inductance meter.
If not, you can get away with using either an oscilloscope or a multimeter (with a frequency function) to measure the frequency of the oscillator with your coil connected to it. Then you can derive the inductance by some mathematics.
There's really nothing more to add.

OK - perhaps we just don't understand what you are asking for.

What do you mean by "tuning the coil"? Are you talking about coil balancing, or do you really mean "tuning"?

You are not the only one who gets scolded it is not so serious as it sounds some truth but some humor too it is your turn now but mine another time if you love metaldetectors and try hard ok in the end I hope.

I think you misunderstand "tuning" maybe. Just make coils as specified 6.0 mH TX, 6.5 mH RX, and null them to minimum voltage measured across RX coil. Adjust coils slightly so voltage on capacitors C15 and C12 are positive, or very little negative (not more than -.5V negative). Positive is best, but don't move far from "null" (minimum) voltage. Turn disc pot, make sure voltage on C15 cannot go too negative. Same for GB pot and C12. If go too negative, shift the coils a little more.

Then test with coin for maximum depth making very small adjustments.

If at depth of 10 - 15 cm you hear two short beeps instead of one good beep, maybe you have RX coil leads reversed. Try other way. (Don't test close to coil).

Scope is best way to see the null voltages, but you need to see old Qiaozhi post for photos.

I may have talked about "tuning" the RX coil in another post, meaning trying to adjust capacitor C6 for better response....Don't try it, stay with values in schematic.

Can you be clear about what you are trying to do? You made a TGSL I think... are you trying to improve it? What is wrong?

lets back to my problem
my device works perfect very stable only poor performance
a single 1.7cm silver coin at about 20cm in air so i think i need "tuning" the RX coil?

Yes you need tuning (balancing, nulling). Balancing,nulling,tuning is already explained many times on these pages. And also Qiaozhi (look how i know his name!!!) already pointed you on this:

Actually i dont drink any more (for longer period). It was in the past. Sweet memories related to Amstel.
