I just won this off Carl on Ebay! I like the Buds, and Big Buds. Not deepseekers but they sure can do a lot for 15 to 20 year old technology. Of course, These are the handiwork of George Payne a brillant Electronic Genius!! Any suggestions on how to replace the missing meter cover?? I'm thinking of either cutting thin plexi-glass or even a thin piece of glass and using silicone glue to set it in place! Any other suggestion would be appreciated!!!! THANKS Joe

You might need to pull the meter ***'y out... one of the needles is a little bent, and sticky... might have some dirt in the movement. Otherwise, seems to work OK, as far as I messed with it.
Probably ship it tomorrow.

Hi Joe,
I had the same problem and used thin glass. It worked fine. Some plastic has a tendency to build up static electricity which can affect the meter.
