Then you need good sensors at distance to give you a pattern of how signal develops in various directions. Think at a star of sensors each at every corner...mean 6 to 12 of these could be fine...each need some kind of sync data recording of better a direct wireless communication real-time to the central laptop...computer...with associated sampler-amplifier.
At the end you have to elaborate seismic waves propagations in various directions. There are many equations to solve the problem and make a map of underground...but there are also ready to made examples and programs one could use. Also matlab...could do similar stuff.
Real professionals use custom software and e.g. openGL primitives to do map from elaboration of seismic data.
This tech could work only for bigger structures e.g. underground contructions...ruins...etc not for smaller cause frequency used are really low due to better penetration.
