You know , I have seen this one before , but I just do not remember where ??...Is it a new release from China ???The search coil does not say Whites ??? But maybe guitan , and the housing says tc-90 ?? I am stumped again !!.........It can't be a 6000 di series 3 , can it ??.....Eugene

For the cheap price , I still think these are very Good !!! The md-5002/seben and the less common md-5008. Almost identical but the md-5008 has 4 potentiometer controls . And I like the huge search-coil the md-5008 comes with. I read some reviews 1.the depth is good after you learn to pin-point your target !! 2. reports of poor solder joints on the circuit board , as you can see the circuit board does not look too good !
The schematic I posted is not complete but looks professional.......I will definitely buy one if the price is right............Thanks KT315 for posting the md-5002 pcb image and schematic earlier . Any more information on these detectors , let us know ..........Eugene

Before 4...5 years i had a MD-5002. It was a very sensitive detector at "all metal" mode and very Stable. The problem was the bad discrimination (metal rejection). If someone want a detector for working at all metal mode then MD-5002 is very good for it money, but if want disc then .....

Really dont know which one is that, but reminds me mostly on Eagle IIc i had in early '90.... Even coil was the same!? But Eagle has LCD...this one seems not..? Photo is not clear enough..

Beware Geo!
Could be a crap mounted in Eagle-look-like enclosure just to attract customers attention! Could be wasted money!
But than again...if it is not over 100 euros than you can risk and buy it. At least you can later use shaft,enclosure and coil housing....

Every time they finish at this way
A good box and a coil housing are more expensive

I found this webpage again and has excellent information and is very complete , "Almost Everything Made In China" Except for "Pulse Induction" which they are starting to Manufacture , complete with a shoulder strap. Hello KT315, The Detector I want the most from this web-page is the MD-88. 6.99 khz , 12volt + 6volt supply and a Maximum depth of "3.5 METERS"?????....It is on my Christmas wish list. I have not seen one in the U.S. , Yet !!!! Maybe it is sold in Europe only ?.............Eugene

I tested MD-5008 in air on a car. it gave amazing result, really very sensitives to big target. poor design but good sens. its schematic certainly was updated from a prototype. NE5534 as preamp, quartzed TX stage, power supply is done in simple but effective manner. what it is? I see only 'a good style' of this china architector in all these details. he looks to some best taste level... imho.
