I seriously do have doubts those crapy "detectors" are good for anything else but to buy very cheap and use all material from them except pcb's....to make good looking handmade...

price 250€ very cip and for settage i think is same to tejon but only after the test i write

Well , Time to post an UPDATE on this cool subject again , it has been several months since I posted on this thread , But check this out !!! All I need to tell you is that this Metal Detector is 2.4 khz and all the Electronics are in the Headphones , Look Familiar !!!! I think it is Great that the Chinese want to save us Money , I am searching now on who is distributing these.............Regards ...........Eugene52

Chinese detectors

Hi Guys,
just a word of warning regarding all 21st Gold Century units. My company bought 7 different models from them as samples. Only one worked as advertised. Another was usable (but frustrating) but the rest all had faults and were totally unusable.

The SRIMT company on the other hand, has far better quality control and better detectors. Nothing earth shattering of course, but at least you can rely on them to work and do what is advertised. The MP range of detectors sold in the USA (see Kellyco website) is made by them. There are another 3 smaller companies that also make detectors in China but quality is unknown. Most of them are based in Shanghai. There is only one PI detector made there, it is for demining use only and cannot be sold outside PRC. Buyer beware! Cheers, Dwt
