    So you have it?

    So, you have it? Please give me the circuit and hex code , i want to make a MD with lcd! i've tried to find circuit , but it was unsuccesful ;( my only hope is Clone PI-2 ... i have 16x2 lcd so i dont want to make IB detector + godograph (128x64 lcd) it's a bit too expensive to me , help , or just say no ! ;( please ...!!!

                  sorry sky76, novatime I have changed my position on the Clone. I do not suggest all to repeat it. Clone has low sensitivity because of its principle mistake. if you have noted FANDY closes his website and will delete all info on Clone-PI. stop to collect the info and redirect on another projects.

                    Hello from Germany. I have to apologize my bad English but as far as I understand you, the the ClonePI-2 is very unsensitive (but the web-site did not yet remove).
                    Is it really that bad and what about sensitivity of the former ClonePI-1 ?
                    I wanted to build it, because it is one of the only PI-projects known to me (with hex-code and PCB-Layout) that uses a working discriminator and uses simple parts.

                    The only other PI with discriminator is the Miner4 of pulsdetektor.de but it uses too expensive and rare Parts for me.

                    So is the ClonePI-2 that bad and who knows a better, completed PI-project with good discriminator ??

                        Discrimination

                        Hello kt315,

                        I did recognize, that clone PI-AVR does not discriminate but
                        clone PI 2 and clone PI-PIC do so.
                        But what did make change your position on the Clone and where do you see principle mistakes ??

                        If there are mistakes, they must be at all 3 variants of the clone
                        (clone PI-PIC and clone PI-AVR and clone PI 2 too).
                        As the clone PI-AVR I did build is not that extremely insensitive, I do not see why the clone PI 2 should be less sensitive.

                        Anyway I have to use a PI with good discrimination because of too much iron here in the places and there are not much projects that leave: As far as I know we else have:

                        - Goldscan 4 which is not with µC and has no real good discrimination.

                        - PD3200 which has good discrimination but is no project to build as there is no one who gives the PD3200.hex (not PD3200DEMO.hex that does not discriminate)

                        - Miner1 to Miner 4 which are very sensitive but where I do not yet believe that they have such an excellent discriminating because the hex-file is "freeware"

                        - (we/I) could do an own Software-project, which would last and so would be expensive

                        - please go on listing other PI projects with good discrimination if you know some more....

                          SORRY, I AM OUT THIS CLONE PI GAME HERE. I do not also suggest all repeat the schematic. you simply will waste of your time on it!

                            don’t know what "CLONE PI GAME" goes on here in the forum (obviously did not yet read enough; may be you can post a thread-ID where I can see the reasons of your negative judgement of that concept; did you build one of those clones?)

                            Has anyone notice of any further discriminating PI except Goldscan4, PD3200, Miners&Co(pulsdetector.de) and PIC- clone-PI / clone-PI-2 ?
                            What else (finished) projects are known good to reproduce for the users?

                              Clon PI on PIC and CLON PI AVR dont have a discrim, Clon PI 2 have discrim, but this discrim is poor. Andy_F is testing a new MD with discrim, but its future are unknow.

                                my reason of the negative judgement lies in poor schematic principe base. it was taken from Tracker-PI, but Tracker-PI is done only for commercial. Clone is one-strobe PI with really poor sens. you can do Classic or TGS, get disc and sens WITHOUT a problem and theirs will MORE better than in Clone. so why you so sharply need in Clone?? LCD, PIC or AVR chip.... expensive ADC... brrrrrrrrrr.... waste them on an anything more better things.
