Hi, Coil is with 30 Cm Diameter , 400uH , 25 or 26tours , from 0.50mm wire , abreast.

Sens. with Good Discrimination for 2Cm gold Ring = 27-29Cm

Hi humhum,have you built this coil?what is your overall coil resistance for this size?
Coil capacitance can be improved?
Try reduce the overall turns of coil to 22-23Turns may be ideal? or go to Multistrand wire for winding at this amount of turns.not light duty,but medium duty tin plated multistrand Hook up wires is ok.

I want to build a PI metal detector.

I have already made Hammerhead II PI version of the PIC 12F683 microcontroller.

My attention detectors / Радиолюбительские конструкции Фёдоров Андрей http://fandy.vov.ru/index.html/ Andy Fedreova series Clone: Clone PI, ClonePI-2, ClonePI- W, ClonePI - AVR, Chance.

My choice is ClonePI - 2 / MOD.2 v1.41/. Reading the forums and opinions, and different versions of the detector have a question:

1. Power operational amplifiers /chips/ symmetrical +5 V,-5V, using LM 7660, LM7805,
LM 7905, as in the Hammerhead II and similarly Chance - or as it is in the "old versions" unbalanced power of weight?

2. What task TL431 in the Chance?

Please, your opinions and suggestions that will help me in achieving my goals.
I have to draw the whole circuit diagram and to the mounting plate /PCB/.

GOMOS, may be you will very shocked... but there is more fresh Chance to be... on two chips. this factor has to cock you up.

Hi,
Looking at your work, and PCB design, I think that these two chips is served by two coils, which operate at different times. Just as it is applied in the coils in the VLF. Frequencies chosen for "metals".
Whilst the two coil as it is presented here: http://i1102.hizliresim.com/2011/2/2/380.gif - probably does not fulfill its role - better would be connected coils as proposed Hammerhead II PI with Pic12F683.

This is my version of "Clone 2 PI MOD.2 v1.41 by looking at the diagram http://i1102.hizliresim.com/2011/2/2/380.gif and about my reflections
on a symmetrical power supply + / - 5V and LF 356 at the entrance, continue TL074.
If you find a mistake - let us know and you could have your suggestions and what else you changed to improve performance?
