  • 1uV Amplifier

    1)Does our Ic's we use in our projects like Ne5534,Lm318 etc amplify 1uV signal, if not what is the minimum voltage it amplifies

    2)If we can amplify 1uV then Why do we need to balance the Tx coils(winding in opposite, for canceling the fields) in 2 coil PI, We can use the Rx coil separated in other plane, 1 feet away from the Tx coil lying along the same axis, and separate the two coils electrically using opto isolaters...

    can any one reply please can we amplify 100nV or 200nV signal with above IC's

      You can amplify anything that comes in above the noise floor.

      Then the RX coil will be too far from the target, and the target signal won't be above the noise floor.
