Is there a fundamental problem with making the tx signal of a PI last longer than it does.If it were to burst for 1/2 sec burst I realize the signal return from a target would get scrambled with the TX but if you filter the RX, could the RX signal have a signature different enough to pick it out of the noise.
For want of a better example, a doppler shift return that is so different it might stand out like a sore thumb and maybe a type of id could be achieved .
The advantage might be not having to have such a short window to RX in and let a micro controller do the signal processing to find a target.
I use 1/2 sec as an example and that would be far greater than needed.
Any thoughts, Wyndham
