      Other epochs! Also the gangsters are fine dressed!

      What we miss? Various kinds of long range? (1930s years)

            Ahh! That's where I'd seen it. I have a first edition copy, number 7690.
            The words to go with the picture are:
            "Fisher Research Lab's Professional Model Large Field Transmitter, used in conjunction with a hand-held receiver of the Explorer type. This combination has a rated, 450-foot depth penetration capability. In granting me permission to use this picture - in order that I might give you a better idea of the many types of detectors that have been designed, built and successfully used - Mr. Faber, Vice President of Fisher Research, asked me specifically to include the fact that this unit has been phased out of production and is no longer available. It was discontinued...not because it wasn't practical, but because more efficient instrumentation (mostly air-borne) has taken its place."
