Mosfet is not damaged. Of course a reducing at the gate voltage it is nesessary. But the best solution is to find the IGBT transistor. Today i tried with NE5534 and i had better operation, better stability anb a little better depth!! After 2 days i will go to Athens and if i have free time i will looking for AD844 and the BUP213.

Hi. I connected an IGBT transistor (BUP213) and an OpAmpl at input (AD844 in replace to LF357) but..... I don't like it because it is not stable. I let it in the corner........ When i will have time, i'll play again with it. This time the sensitivity is about the same with the Delta Pulse, but it needing tuning every 20sec...
Maybe next month to have news.....

Hi.
Delta and XR71 are exactly the same.
I have not tried the PD3200.
For small and normal objects ( with normal coil, not with 1x1 m) ATiny-4 is better. It has more gain at received circuit from DP and more transmit Power. But my Atiny4 was not stable, so i let it.
PD3200 (a friend own onn) it is about the same with DP but has the advantage that it can discriminate betwen ferrous and no ferrous objects.

Mouser electronics lists that part # and carries several variations of it. Digikey may have it too...

Just google those two names, they've both got web sites.
