  • sinusoidal generator with low distortion

    hello all,
mayby anyone give me a vector in the space, I hope.
I would like to get out a generator with very low distortion, it must have also sinchro input for outer quartzed generator (32 kHz). the distortion must be on 1% or even lower level.

    yours

            TCXO: Temperature Controlled Crystal Oscillators

What you need is a TCXO: Temperature Controlled Crystal Oscillator
This is a sealed very stable Oscillator over a wide temperature range.

            Go to: http://www.digikey.com/
In the search box type TCXO
Then you need to chose what type of package you need.

Or just put TCXO in Google.

Now they make programmable and fixed, they also make adjustable.
You can get them CMOS (3 VDC) and as low a frequency of 32 KHz.
to a high of above 160 MHz.

I found one that was 400 MHz. and used it for a UHF (less than 1 Watt ERP)
            and a dual dish detector.
It worked like a microwave motion detector from an alarm system.
Microwave sensors bounce microwaves off of an object, then measure the frequency
of the returning waves. If the particular object is moving, it will send back microwaves of a differing frequency (doppler effect).
So no swinging from side to side.
Microwave sensors can offer a greater range of coverage than infrared sensors, and are more reliable at greater distances.
Microwaves can also penetrate walls, which means that microwave sensors can be placed behind objects.
The only negative aspect of these types of sensors is their strong sensitivity, and the fact that they are vulnerable to
interference from other electrical devices such as lightning, or radios.
So I am still working out the bugs by using DSP to be more selective.
Hope that helps, and I look through junk radios and find a lot of my parts
including TCXO's. I found marine radios that are type accepted to have TCXO's
            that you could use.

Find shematic of generator with Vin(Win?) bridge. There is a lamp with glow filament in negative back connection. It can be used as amplifier and corrector of input signal.
Or you can use DDS .

this is a task and a schematic part of Schedrin's 'one-coil' detector. this generator is not good and gives fluctuations of some harmonics. it is the promlem. I see only one from a copy, but I hope maybe there will be all-on-chip generator? I repeat for Dear Ivconic that generator distortion must be very low for this metaldetector type.

                  maxim

                  Hi KT315

                  please check Maxim/Dallas webpage:
                  http://para.maxim-ic.com/cache/en/results/30069.html
                  http://datasheets.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/DS32kHz.pdf
These are all in one but some has to be programmed..
