How to open White's XLT Display

Hello,

does anybody know how to open a White's XLT display / contrpl unit in order to replace the plastic display cover? Mine is unfortunately damaged and needs replacement but I can't figure out how to open the control unit.

yo tengo uno igual, y lo abri, pero no tengo cercas donde comprar esas refacciones, mira es facil
quitale todos los tornillos o el tornillo grande, de arriba y abajo,que tenga, despues le metes una navaja alrededor con cuidado aflojandole alrededor, y luego saltan las cunitas plasticas que se insertan, y se habre, me dices que le cambiaste y cuanto te costaron, ahi le traducen por favor a este companero en correcto ingles, para que entienda

XLT Display

Take the screws out of the back and pry the two pieces apart near the bottom under the foam pad. Just be careful not to break the plastic tabs off.

Easy job!

Use hamer and sander, mutually!
Dont worry, in case you destroy it...you dont need it anyway.

The 'display cover' - as you name it - is glued onto the faceplate. You do not need to open the box to replace it. Just peel off the damaged window sticker and apply a new one. It is self-adhesive.

If you mean whole faceplate, you can do whatever you like, since it is already damaged

click out the cover. if you are technician you must be aware these electronics are opened by a plastic card (like credit, phone card etc.). if you are not... then SORRY!
