First up i would like to say Gday--Hello to everyone being the new kid on the block.
I have read all sorts of things regarding the Minelab range of detectors refering to SD--GP--GPX & what is best etc.
Some say the older SD detectors will hold there own against the newer models & that the difference being Bells & Whistles on the newer models rather than any real performance gains.
My question is, has anyone done a real test survey with model against model either in controlled enviroments or in real world conditions to actually qualify to give the test results & comments or is all this hear say like 98% of things on the internet.
Is there a thread on the forum of such qualified testing or on the Net somewhere that i can read?
