      ROFLMAO Simply hilarious .

Any REAL factual information hidden by Minelabs typical obfuscation and bullsh*t tactics (as usual) .

AND.. LMAO Halcro Best amplifiers in the world HAHAHAHA erm BULL****!!!! Quad, Naim, Cambridge Audio, to name but three nad ALL from the UK.

Halcro spout some absolute rubbish about linear PSU's above a certain power being illegal in the EU, WHAT RUBBISH. Lies and more bull from the masters of spin. These guys should be in politics they're that full of crap!

OLD saying..."Bull**** baffles brains". Except with Minalb and Halcro, they play on the ignorance and gullibility of the people they peddle their stuff to.

But thanks for the laugh Tinkerer ;-))

OOPS I didn't mean to imply that there weren't any good amplifiers from Bulgaria, I've never heard of those Ivconic.

I repsect you guys over there a LOT and I think you are about ot produce the future of metal detecting. High performance, well priced machine, THAT is what people want. Forget China, the are toys, but Bulgarian machines rock. Take Nexus, EXCELLENT and MANY more makes. I have over 10 from Bulgaria and 2 from Poland, and 1 from Czechoslovakia so far, ALL are good machines and cost me next ot nothing. ALL outperform ANYTHING by Tesoso, Whites of Garrett for the same price.

                WELL DONE Eastern Europe!!

Oh, yes I got he phase meter, problem is the way it is done on that system, a far better way is to look at the way a computer mouse is demodulated, BUT you need boost the hell out of the Rx signal to make it a square wave, and usually that means there is a load noise involved. I don't think this idea will work well at all. What I think you will have to do was done by Robert Hoolko (Where the hell is he these days??) and sample the signal at 0, 90, 180, 270 degrees to calculate the phase shift. I dont think it can be done. BUT look for the Radiometer Ferret or something like that. That has some EXCELLENT pointers on digital demod.

                http://members.aol.com/omlcgm/radiometer/radiometer.htm

                GREAT for nulling coils!!

Yes Delbert it is interesting, but he's so full of himself. "I published in the PRESTIGIOUS" publication...Yadada yadada yadada.. Yeah Bruce.. Yawn...

Yes he's clever, but not THAT clever.

If he wasn't so boastful then maybe people would respect him more. I mean he could have worded it "published in a well read (name of publication)" and the bit where he says he solved something no one else had? How about "I proposed a mathematical solution which I believed offered a solution to a long time problem". Nah sorry, Delbert, IMHO the guys a Jerk. Grade 1.

There are people on this forum who are MUCH cleverer than he is, or will ever be, but you dont see them singing their own praises, the many projects and research notes on this forum speak volumes about their abilities.

This is not a proper "white paper". Reads more like
something from the Minelab marketing department -
oh, Bruce Candy is the marketing department? sorry
                      - my bad

On page 15 he says 12.5cm = 11". This is an obvious
error, and while I realize it's probably just a typo, it
does make me wonder about the rest of his maths.

                      robotic regards,

                      Tom

                        What Bulgaria? Serbia not Bulgaria...

Never heard about Jadis ??????? Eat this!

                        http://www.absoluteaudio.gr/jadis2.html

                        Or KT88 ....???
                        http://www.mclink.it/com/audiomatica/tubes/kt88.htm

If you never heard about Jadis and KT88,KT90 tubes....well, you not suppose to critisize Halcro amps at all.
Jadis is the highest quality power amp ever made. Also most expensive.
Main designer e.e. was Serbian, my neighbor, also member of constructors team whos designed KT88 tube... 6L6GC is small baby compared to KT88 and late KT90.
Manufacturer which started to manufacture first line of KT88 tubes was EI Nis, electronic Industry placed 60km away from my home...etc..etc.. But as good audiofil you should know that before..
Also Serbia is country in Balkan peninsula. Near is Bulgaria.... Geogrpahy..geography!?!?
                        Sean...stick to metal detectors, better...
                        Regards!

I guess you were confused with that prefix "KT..." relating to russian transistors with same prefix...as small signal transistor kt315 or simillars...
Yet no relation between russian KT..prefixes and tube labels with same KT...prefixes.
Aint no KT...tube ever manufactured in eastern countries. KT..tubes are western products.
                          Interesting coincidence..!? Indeed...
Also Jadis originaly came from France. Manufacturer of most famous, esoteric, highest quality power amplifiers ever made on this planet.
Fer instance, their leading product Jadis 200 is power amplifier used mostly in Milan Scala, Metropolitan and few other halls...also most expensive power amplifier ever made.Esoteric..100%
Quad,Nad,Sherwood,Burmeister,Harman Kardon and Halcro are medium-high class amplifiers, totally out of Jadis class...
                          Regards!

                            Bingo! I know!

What the hell, high Q amps got to do with metal detectors???
                            But...they do!
                            Think about this!

                            P.S.
                            BTW Jadis 200 is approx $27 000 ....

                            Peanuts! Isn't it?

I'm SO gonna buy one of those amps. The specs are MIND BLOWING!! Halcro eat sh*t and die compared to that, though I'd love to hear one through my ESL90's first .
