    I am very proud "dad" of many excellent TGSL's. But...if you want the truth;
it is not even compareable to RH. RH is much superior...not only over TGSL but over many more serious today's machines. So...much water will flow until they make something simillar. Explorer,Sovereign...pffffha,ha,ha,ha,ha!!!!
Relic Hawk is ONE and ONLY!
Horseshoe...!? What is horseshoe???( refering to RH)

      Hi,

      Hi,
What you mean buy this.No mircles with disc?
I am only trying to understand the advantages and the draw backs.
      Thanks.
p.s.Dont wory you will have RH again.
but today max have made me think are the dedvices indentical in performance?Or each one have diferance? And yours were a just little bit untuned?Just smokers toughts.
I will copy the parts and pcb according the original. Will try to race all.But you, max, and others will have to help finish the work.
I am planing to use verticaly soldered resistors and make oldstile PCB with SMD dimensions.Hope We sucssed.
Because I read that some other guys that "talk about Geotch" make lought at us and in same time copy the ideas seen here.
      Now lets light big,fat joe)))))))))))

        Hi,

        Hi,
what you think that be the right replacement for 27M7 IC?
        Thanks

"...What you mean buy this.No mircles with disc?.."

TikTak you dont understand ....Chating with you ocassionally turns to be pretty trivial.
Yes RH disc is SPLENDID.That's what i wanted to say. Horseshoe does not exist for RH if you adjust Disc properly. Understand now?

I might have RH again sometime, might not...who can tell?
Right now i am pretty satisfied with White's Spectrum. Next to best ever!
Also i do have TGSL and Black Knight in my arsenal. Not to mention real "beast" (like hell) Micronta 4003!!! Ha,ha,ha,ha! And one broken Gold Bug2...and few others on a pile....
          So...

27M7 replacement......hhhmmm!? I am not sure. You better search some comparsion tables on the net, or ask Max here...

I do have few pieces here, chopped from scraped CZ5...good advice for you, find some scraped Fisher and take those from it.

            Hi,

            Hi,
Now I understand. For my TGS this is wost probleme.Horseshoes.
So I am planing to but RH!Not scraped PCB and took it from there without nowing are they working or not.So I will just find good replacement that can be bought brand new.

              Hi

              Hi,
Ivica I just have read that russians think that their Grozda and Anker 50/..are better and deeper compared with RH and in this case there is no need for them to make RH PCB.
What do you think? This cant be true.Did you have any experiance with this detectors?
              Thanks

No. I dont have personal experiences with neither one russian detector.Pitty.
But so as i heard from some people Anker is pretty unuseable on soil due lot of false signals it produces. Further this is due high power TX output....etc.etc...
We can write here lines and lines about this and that detector. Many will claim "this" one is better or "that" one is better....neverending story.
I do not want to be involved in such trivial story and huge waste of time on nonsences.
If they are satisfied with their detectors than i am even more happy.
One thing i do know for sure; i will not waste my time with such projects. Instead i will rather pay more interest on splendid device like RH, already seen in real world, on real terrains.
So...if you are interested on something else, simply it is your choice.Go ahead, wish you luck.
                Regards!

                  Hi,

                  Hi,
No,no,no.I just waned to now your opinion because you have a lot of experians in real conditions and I fully belive your words!
Because I never saw such unit too.But have heard a lot of stories and yesterday have read this claims.
                  Thanks
p.s.I am watching now for several days all the info that we have for RH.And I have noticed that coinseeker is not advanced. Its made according same schematic that we have.Just there is some mistake.Hope we find it soon.

some step in project 'Sturm-III' moving . you may see. I do not waste. time. and your attention. BUT. I would like to note YOU MUST DO BETTER THAN IT IS!

                      Hi,
I think problem is not if russian projects are good or not... probably they are for the purpose they were developed... I don't know.

Real problem is about the way they try to get more depth: brute force !

I'm sure that units will drink also vodka if needed and will work the same also without batteries... like some very nice old USSR products... tanks...and the like: philosophy I think is similar... very robust stuff, heavy, undestroyable and... almost useless most of the times! (e.g. regarding USSR tanks... think at Apache AH-64/D and hellfire stuff combination... and you'll see they are pretty useless in real world !)

No, no... sorry... just joke... I know of very superb devices made in Russia still today... and probably people that made those MDs have very wide experience in electronics... so I give tribute to them.

No... the problem is brute force way of doing... I don't like it cause of problems Ivconic reported : false signals and too soil dependant situation.

You can easy detect small coins at half a meter... but then problem is that you can do ON AIR... not on soil... not always... not in every kind of soil I mean.

The TGS and other VLFs do the other way: fine search... low power on TX and higher SNR.

RH is this way: SNR is the key !

In RH tx power is different from tesoro's but where the device sure shine is about noise control over the power delivered... lower noise, better SNR and so more depth without having the hundreds volts on tx coil.

I will always prefer the soft-way to brute force in MDs cause of too many troubles with brute force.

Also on PIs... you can easy detect coins at 50cm ON AIR... but try to use one on soil... on iron infested soil or also where many minerals or hot rocks present... it's unpleasant experience see and hear detector "point" any brick piece or stone...

I know too well... so I don't like PIs for most of inland ... and don't like too much power on TX of vlfs too.

                      Kind regards,
                      Max

                        Interesting depth comparison table:
                        http://www.staffsmetaldetectors.co.u..._halfpenny.htm
                        RH in 3rd place!

What is missing so we can build one? Looks interesting project!
                        Regards,

KT315 that schematic looks almost nice. Only thing that still bugs me is (again and i am not suprised) that TX output! Rest of schematic need to be reconsidered.
Yes you are right we need to do things better. But...in which direction we should go?
It is hard to do better on RH schematic. I am not that expert, dont know about others.
                          Regards!
