OK , HERE IS THE NEW THREAD !!!!!!! TIME TO GET THAT "OLD BEAST" OUT OF YOUR CLOSET !!! TAKE A FEW SCREWS OFF THE COVER AND SEND A CLEAR PHOTO OF THE PCB "CIRCUIT BOARD" , AND THE REST OF THE UNIT, IF YOU LIKE. OR JUST POST SOME DETECTOR PHOTO'S OF DISCONTINUED MODEL'S YOU KNOW WORKED GREAT , BUT JUST SEEM TO DISAPPEAR ?????? I CAN THINK OF MANY DIFFERENT ONE'S . BUT I WILL TRY TO POST PHOTO'S TO BRING BACK OLD MEMORIES. AND HOPEFULLY THIS THREAD WILL BE A SUCCESS WITH EVERYONE'S HELP. AND ALSO DETECTOR PHOTO'S WITH "PIC CHIP'S OR "ATMEL'S WILL BE ACCEPTED , JUST TO SEE CIRCUIT DESIGN DIFFERENCES . THANK'S AGAIN EVERYONE...............EUGENE

Looks like junk, works a dream!!

SOMEWHERE I have a Wilson Coin & Relic IV PCB intact and fully working AND a searchhead that will go with it.

WHO WANTS THIS STUFF?????? Volunteers please....

BUT there's a catch, you have to trace the circuit and post (IN EAGLE FORMAT) if for all on the forum to use and be able to make one. So, who wants a free detector as soon as I can find the bits?

        I want of course!
No problem about tracing it and preparing files.
But sending to me will cost you much! More than its real value!
So.....gotcha! Send it to me asap!
In case you are sad, listen song from link bellow....

It will probably bankrupt you to send it to Ivconic. Perhaps you can send it to me instead.

Yes, there are many lunatics, present and absence. The question is: who assume his lunaticism? Me? You?

                    Regards

                        "OLD FORGOTTEN METAL DETECTOR'S"

"COMPASS METAL DETECTOR'S" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........HERE IS WHAT I THINK IS VERY , VERY IMPORTANT !!!.........HERE IS THE FIRST PHOTO OF A METAL DETECTOR I THOUGHT WORKED PRETTY GOOD AND REALLY HAS SOME POTENTIAL WITH MOD'S !!! I DID POST SOMETHING ON THIS A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO HERE ON GEOTECH . AND AGAIN I DID SOME RESEARCH A COUPLE MONTHS AGO , SPENT SEVERAL HOUR'S AND DID FIND SOME INFORMATION ON THE WHEREABOUT'S OF 2 PEOPLE WHO LAST RAN COMPASS DETECTOR'S . IF I AM WRONG PLEASE CORRECT ME !!!!!! THEY ARE OUT OF BUSINESS AND LAST I HEARD "COMPASS DETECTORS ARE NO LONGER MANUFACTURED . ALOT OF PEOPLE LOST MONEY !!! AND THE RIGHTS TO THE NAME WERE NEVER PURCHASED IN ANY BANKRUPTSY COURT THAT I KNOW OF. THE LAST 2 OWNERS NOW SELL ELECTRONIC PARTS IN CALIFORNIA.??? IF THIS IS TRUE THAN SCHEMATICS OF ALL THE DETECTORS COMPASS MADE, ARE WELCOME HERE !!!! FROM XP SERIES TO THE OLD MAGNUMS . I AM CURRENTLY OUT OF TOWN FOR A FEW DAYS SO I CAN ONLY POST ONE PHOTO TODAY AND THAT IS WHY I HATE "WINDOWS VISTA " SOFTWARE DUE TO ITS PHOTO/IMAGE GARBAGE,AT HOME I HAVE "WINDOWS XP" AND IT IS THE BEST !!!!. ANYWAY BACK TO THE TOPIC , IF I HAD THE "BIG MONEY" I WOULD BUY THE "COMPASS NAME , MODIFY THE BETTER MODEL'S AND CONTINUE WITH THE "TRADITION"....SO FOR NOW HERE IS ONE PHOTO FOR THE "OLD FORGOTTEN METAL DETECTOR'S" . AND REMEMBER YOUR PCB -JPEG PHOTOS AND COMMENTS ARE WELCOME ....ESPECIALLY THE COMPASS DETECTOR'S!!!...........TAKE CARE EVERYONE AND HAVE A GREAT DAY TOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....................EUGENE
