    ICONOS Gold Detector:

    I like to know if anyone has good experience in business transaction with ICONOS Gold Detector. My experience has been very unfortunate. Please find below the summary of my business transaction with ICONOS:

    - After 83 days after ICONOS received the money, I still do not have the product delivered.
    - ICONOS shipped a defective product that does not work, so I returned the product back.
    - ICONOS requested more money (350 Euros) for the replacement. They promised that they will ship the replace immediately once they receive the additional money.
    - I sent additional money.
    - ICONOS informed me that they have shipped the replacement unit using a courier company.
    - But I did not receive the product. I confirmed with the courier company that the tracking number they provided does not even exist. The courier company confirmed to me that there is no shipment coming to me
    - I tried to reach ICONOS repeatedly, but ICONOS does not respond to my emails and calls anymore.

    I am not sure...but i think RObert already pointed on this earlier, on his own "strange" style of explaining things.
    Pitty he is absent until September, i would like to see his comments on this!

    BTW...devices as Iconos are under huge doubt to be workable at all. No wonder you have such bad experiences at all.

      Try re-posting your experience on the Remote Sensing forum. You may get more information there.
      As Ivconic already said - these devices have a dubious reputation, and their claims are unsubstantiated.

        don't work

        Hi Kirk Chi,

        I am very sorry to hear this, I am afraid I will have to agree,

        your unit was probably not defective, it never did work.

        And doesn't work. And never will work.

        Can't expect someone who is willing to sell something like

        this to be very ethical about anything.
