Is there a reliable metal detector can only detect gold?
I think it's hard to made such detector.who knows which detector can achieve only gold hunting?

Hi,
you can use some VLF with notch... like TGS but will not detect just gold only... probably you'll get also aluminium stuff easy.

Only gold or any particular metal means you have some kind of strict and reliable disc method implemented in the MD... that actually doesn't exist... though many manifactures claim this possible or already present in their units.

So I think this kind of search is waste of time.

I had made the TGS, in notch mode it's just like you had said,also can detect small aluminium stuff like POP Can suspension link. And big gold mass,it is hard to discriminate.

That's the Holy Grail for nugget hunters, but it doesn't exist, and probably never will. Too many variables.
