  • SPICE Models for 4053?

Does anyone on this forum know where to obtain SPICE models for the 4053 (or for that matter for any spdt analog switch). I have been searching high and low without success.

    Thanks in advance,
    J. L. King

I do have SPICE models for some of the Siliconix range of CMOS analog switches, which I created several years ago, but they contain behavioral code which is incompatible with SwCAD.
However, the DG202 model is much simpler. Please see attached. I haven't checked it with SwCAD, so you'll probably have to change the .model switch statement to make it compatible.
    Good luck.

      Qiaozhi,
Thank you very much! With that sample I now have enough information create my own symbol/subckt for a spdt analog switch.

      Thanks again,

Thanks to Qiaozhi, and some further research, I have completed a LTSpice model for a CD4053. I am making it available to this forum. To use it you will require the 3 files in the attached zip file. The Inhibit pin (pin 6 on the CD4053) on the model is non-functional. All other pins give a fair logical emulation of the original component.

          CD4007 SPDT Models

Here are models and symbols for two versions of a CD4007 wired as a SPDT switch. I expended a good bit of energy trying to make sure that the pinouts are accurate, but I have not actually used these devices to validate them. I think they're OK, but I make no promise. Use them at your own risk.
