  • Real Metal Detectors

Hello , I think any P.I. detector company that claims it can accurately discriminate , is still false and is not 100% possible ......YET !!!!! . I believe the Transmit pulse "waveform" of a P.I. "Must" be re-shaped so that "Phase differences" can be distinguished on the RX recieve coil and circuit side , so a dual coil must be used . The law of physics will rule out , that a mono or single winding coil will not work !!!.... Another option of P.I. discrimination is Charge and Discharge time period differences or what I think of as the "Decay rate time period" [down to the nano-second] of each and every metal must be stored , and the differences of each time period will be your discrimation . So when I saw the Deepers control panel picture , and the discrimination adjustment knob it made me wonder again .......Maybe it just discriminates on Aluminum......The above is just my opinion and other members are welcome to comment here ................Take care ....Eugene

I was the one who sometime ago posted the Deepers thread in the tech forum. I was also impressed with the features a standard MD, in this case, a PI, advertised in their site.

Truth is I could contact one guy, now a good friend by the way, who used to be a beta tester and representative for Deepers. This guy told me the detector has huge problems regarding workability and all what is advertised is pure hype. He even returned the unit refusing to endorse the product.

      Hope this helps.

reminds me all the stories with claims about Mineoro's really work! And all world know that it isn't!

But maybe people who made such claims prefer getting some money and shut the mouth about the fact their products are complete crap... ops... crepes...
          full of BS!

What about your team ? Did you installed the cork there ? I know... it's not easy stuff changing the pot for a cork and make the RT-flask whiskey-proof!

          Kind regards,
          Max

            • Hi, really? good, good. are you serious or kidding? give us one address, if not possible, for your claim demonstration put a picture of your MDL here. I wish you find best objects by that( which I'm sure can), of course hope be not very very deep target like as ours that's probably at more than 15 meters.

              • take a stone that you can carry , a big treasure in 15 meters deep is hard situation i try to find small treasures (coin jar, ...) in medium depth not a room in 15 or 20 meters depth.

when i bu the MDL and i finish the trade , i'll send pictures of it .

the "intel inside celeron" sticker means nothing from itself... anybody get one from an e.g. old PC and put there...

but also, if it was put there by manifacturer, could also mean there's something intel processor inside for real.

I mean, celeron would stay for low-end processor of any kind...

For example... I don't know if some Xscale Intel processors are branded like "celeron" too when low-end. The Xscale ones are used in devices like Palm PDAs, tungsten serie.

Anyway I have serious dubts that an Intel celeron something is inside it... probably is just a joke with sticker. Sure there's something mcu, but common stuff in PIs... like some AVR or PIC.

                      Kind regards,
                      Max
MAX a lié avec intel et il est la programme nationale fou avec pentium cpu's.. un un trou, ahole max

                        hi, Great_Alex.
I dont think you have found the MDL. first: that was not made in USA, just observe the quality of the MDL. 2nd:
for the info I found I think That belongs to a conveyor made out of USA, and someoe stole it.
I think that the only solution to get one is trying to talk to the person who michael bought it. and try to get the name of the converyor. thats my opinion

                        • Possibly, it could be a part of a airport type walk-though metal detector. One that is connected to an computer with Intel chip.

                            • FINALLY WE HAVE AN ANSWER

Someone bought this detector from the black market in IRAN.

Here is what he told me in his emails:

"MDL is very very sensetive and use a Fixed balance no ground tracking and is a noisy device on Minerals and ... , working with MDL need many experiment and patient , it's like a M82A1 and not suitable for every one"

"as i said before I bought it in the Black market in Iran , and i search very hard to find the thread to MDL .i'm not sure it's realy an american device but it has a "MADE IN USA" label.i bout it from a person that his main job was traffic the millitary stuff ; with no question I paid the money and he gave me the MD .

any way for me it's not so important that what country produce the MDL because it works great and deeper than any metal detector that i have before."

"about price it's over price here i bought it about 14000$ but the real price maybe was under 1000 $.
for examle a Remington 700 rifle is about 1500$ in US and in Iran it's about 40000$ (legally price)

it's very deep i already have genesis and deepmax x3 but it's very stronger and deeper than them - i sold those detectors to buy MDL."

Here are the images he showed me of the detector turned on and in different settings etc:
