Real Metal Detectors
Hello , I think any P.I. detector company that claims it can accurately discriminate , is still false and is not 100% possible ......YET !!!!! . I believe the Transmit pulse "waveform" of a P.I. "Must" be re-shaped so that "Phase differences" can be distinguished on the RX recieve coil and circuit side , so a dual coil must be used . The law of physics will rule out , that a mono or single winding coil will not work !!!.... Another option of P.I. discrimination is Charge and Discharge time period differences or what I think of as the "Decay rate time period" [down to the nano-second] of each and every metal must be stored , and the differences of each time period will be your discrimation . So when I saw the Deepers control panel picture , and the discrimination adjustment knob it made me wonder again
.......Maybe it just discriminates on Aluminum
......The above is just my opinion and other members are welcome to comment here ................Take care ....Eugene
