White's 6000/DI series 3 and 5000/D G.E.B. operating frequencies
Whites 6000/DI series 3 and 5000/D G.E.B. operating frequencies
Compass Man , They both operate at around 6.59 khz. But both are different in their performance and detection depth. There is more information on the internet , but it will take you some time , to research it all !!! ...........Eugene
may be not. at least 5000 coinmaster operates on 5130 Hz (as to it was noted in Whites' patent?). is this fact due all coinmaster series has this frequency I do not aware of.
the schematic has been shared here btw.
Whites 6000/DI series 3 and 5000/D GEB operating frequencies
Thanks KT315 , You might be right because the 5.130 khz number did come up . But are we sure thats right. I found 6.592khz for the 5000/D series 2 and 6.595khz for the 6000/DI series 3 Posted on other forums from reliable "OLD TIMERS". I always like to be correct , so I am glad you posted what you found. A comment to "Compass man" is that the Whites 6000/DI series 3 with the 8 inch standard whites coil is a "Great Detector" , but can be improoved a little with a better search coil , Like the "HOT HEAD COIL" . As for the 5000/D series 2 , use only in an emergency like when your other "Good Detectors" are broken . And many of the older Metal Detectors can not not be modified by changing the "Frequency"!!!! I will research some more and see what comes up....Eugene
