    Aft, your position is strange
after my extrimaly most notes DO NOT repeat Anker why you decise to step on the rake! do only THUNDERBOLT-IV if you so want deeply IB.
where you can order the pcb - I have wrote.

            Hi KT315
Thanks ,I download and study THUNDER 3 circuit diagram .
Also this link not work http://www.uteai.info/masterskaja/th...hunder3sch.rar
Are you built THUNDER 3 ?
            Best regards.

hi AFT. no. I need in some IC's. these are absent in a shop PCB all has been soldered, but without the IC's I can not move forward.

Hi Aft. I constructed the SS60 before time (1.5.... 2 years ago). It is a very strong detector but only for "soft" ground. The problems are that it has not GEB and it needs about 250ma electric current from battery, so it need a big one battery. It has a very good 2 tone disc. Generally it is a very good detector but it is better to construct the light version of TGS with a big coil
                  Regards

                      Hi KT315
I studying THUNDER 3 circuit diagram, may be I cannot find MC34119
And IRU1205 IC from local area .all of other ICs obtainable.
Are you having PCB file for it?
                      Best Regards.

Are they new devices or just in Europe ??? MC34119 is a specialty Audio I.C. ?? and IRU1205 is A Linear voltage regulator ?? .... No "NTE" cross reference came up !!! We better wait for KT315..........I am going to check the schematic again........I hope they are not discontinued already........Eugene

                          Hi Geo
Yes, I wrote at another thread that you built ss60.
Please more explain when you test it on the ground .
                          Best regards.

                            Please explain,
What was search coil diameter ?
What deep you could reach with coin 2.5cm dia
In air and within ground? ( for me ,deep in the ground very important)]
                            Best regards.

                              Hi Aft.
The problem was that at big stones and full sensitvity it gives "false" signals. I decrease the TX power but then the detector was not a "Magic detector".
So it is better the TGS (the same at the ground) because it is a very light detector with good disc and about the same depth.
                              Regards
