    Hi,
I think is not of big economic value...maybe could go for some hundreds dollars to also some thousand I think... worth to some collector maybe... but you can also make some good tea with it! I suggest you try...I think the critical phase is adding the charcoal and light it...

Well... to make the things the right way you'll need also an old Pravda newspaper to light it well... but this is another story!

Anyway... it's an interesting found... which detector did you use to find it ? At which depth ?

    Kind regards,
    Max

                Hi,
most of them are made with brass, some parts could be in gold or plated in more recent versions.

I think it's an interesting found cause the piece is in good conditions and show a 1885 as production date... not bad for a collector!

Also the fact it was found in the 2meters range is interesting, not cause of detection itself (the object is large) but cause any method employed show to be effective for other searches at that place...and not only.

I think Vistac2000 could made MORE serious discoveries with that method. My advice is continue doing same way there...

                Kind regards,
                Max

                  Hi Friends ...

                  hi,

thanks wild_desert, i send to you high resolution of photos,

hi Esteban, i think 18... must be it's product date, but it is not in good condition to read, thus i think it's product date is about at least 120 years ago... !!!

i show it to my friend, he is a gold seller, he had a good idea,
he saied to me that, i think it's base is from pure gold and other parts of it is plated by gold, he said that it's ancient worth is very much from it's gold worth !!! what are you think ???

i am waiting for translate words that written on it ...
                  with best regards...

The inserted medals (in general in gold or plated) are premiums in expositions.

Look the year 1870, so the samovar is previous this year. Another medal (1885) shows inscription Exposition Universelle... In the list of expositions of 1885 the only in this year was Exposition Universelle d'Anvers, Belgium.

                    Regards

I think because of all those letters and stamps , this was a special item.
                      Comemorative of something maybe?
With so many people reading cyrillic alphabet here i wonder why no one translated it yet .
You know, the most important is that it is a beautifull object.
                      Regards,
                      Fred.

Inserted medals are because the product was rewarded in expositions, etc.

                          Regards

From top to bottom (on the big picture)

One more thing, the word "fraternity" in the context of factory was never in use until the soviet revolution. I don't want to spoil your party, but the 18xx might just mean jwhen the factory was established not the age of the item you have found. It might suggest you have discovered an post October revolution suggesting something after 1917.
I wouldn't expect much gold in there if that's the case, but as Max said mostly brass.
