Can't help yopu there. Have never taken head apart. The headphones I have are the old military piezo type, 2k ohm

You helped a lot by giving me a placement for brown wire.
I don't think I can take it apart... maybe I will use it for future project.

You coul'd measure impedance of coil on connector if you have blank stereo headphones connector.

I can do that and post the results. No problem.

I made measure ments here. No battery, no headphone, switch in off position.
Black - Red = 1.9K ohms
Black - Green = 1.9k ohms
Red - Green 3 ohms
