      The motion mode has advantages and the non motion mode has other advantages.
      It is rather difficult to have both in one machine and switching between them.

      But how about a DC coupled differential motion mode and then switching to the old fashioned non motion mode for pin-pointing and verifying?
      This seemed to work fine on the breadboard.
