  • coax capacitance

    Hey again all.

I have a coax capacitance question. Is 32pF/ft good (50ohm)?

    i.e- www.naftechnology.com/flexible.htm Click on RG400.

There's some on Ebay and I was wondering about it. Cost isn't important (at least in the bigger picture). How does this stuff stack up against S-video cable, for example?

    Thanks in advance...GTB

    GT,

Not sure about S video cable but I thinks with coax you could do alot better with 75 ohm under ~20pF/ft.

      thanks Molzar

      Thanks.
I'ld like to get as little capacitance per foot as poss. I need to do more research it seems.... GTB

          GT,

RG-62/U hard to find in small quantity (big reel = big $$$)
Found this at one of my favorite suppliers... $0.25/ft

Lot of other stuff here too....

          Enjoy
