Hi all,
I want to add a volume control to my headphones. I'm using a 5K linear pot. The problem is as you turn up the pot to increase volume it suddenly gets loud and as you decrease it it will suddenly goes lower. I have tried different pots with the same results. I get a smooth increase in volume then boom. ......too loud.
My connections are as follows. If anybody can suggest a better hookup I would appreciate it.
1 end-ground
2 center-out to headphones
3 end-in from headphones
