You could say that your question is like asking, "How long is a piece of string?".

Firstly - Are you willing to spend any money on a SPICE simulator? If so, how much?
Secondly - Do you want a schematic capture package as a front-end, or are you happy to create SPICE decks with a text editor?

There are a lot of good SPICE simulators available for free. But, if you want more bells and whistles, you'll have part with some cash.
        It's horses for courses...

          Hi zenit52,

I am using LTspice IV. Check google, you will find it.
There is a site with additional spice models anywhere.

If I miss a parts model, then I am using National Instruments Multisim 10.1 for take-over of the spice models. This can be integrated in LTspice. Multisim has 30 days limit. Then backuping the windows again for a new fresh installation.

LTspice is easy to use and has no limitations. If you use Linear Tech chips, then you will have lots of spice models (that's the intention of Linear Tech of course).

I am gonna to simulate a full PI detector with LTspice. It is worth to play with it. Its totally free.

            Hi,
            Thanks Aziz,
I will go to get LTspice IV,
also i find one software called TINA Design Suite from http://www.tina.com,
this software package for analyzing, designing, and real time testing of analog, digital, VHDL, MCU, and mixed electronic circuits and their PCB layoutsand also can show 3D view of the circuit...
what is your idea about this software ???!!!
