    NEW MODEL 2008
    DEEPERS MF MULTI FREQUENCY
The newest model of Deepers Detector

Deepers is the most powerful Pulse Induction Detector on the market

Our newest detector, based on French technology pioneered by Mr. Alain Châtillon, the Deepers MF Model 2008 is a true multi frequency detector, the most powerful in its category. Depending on the type of soil being hunted, desired signal strength, search depth or amount of electrical interference in the area, the DEEPERS MF Model 2008 can be adjusted to 400 different frequencies ranging from 550 Hertz to 950 Hertz. This allows you to fine tune the instrument to your particular hunting needs. Eliminate mineralized ground and electrical interference and maximize your chances of success. It's the more powerful detector of our production.
The new Deepers MF Model 2008 will surprise you with its capabilities. It is very easy to set up and use. With semi automatic Auto Tune the detectorist is able to set a threshold level that is maintained automatically by the detector even over changing ground conditions. A very solid and dependable detector made for the professional and hobby detectorist alike. Easily able to detect deeply buried metal targets and particularly effective in the location of gold, silver or bronze.
Similar to our previous model but with improvements in circuitry, more user friendly and easily capable of locating single ancient gold, silver and bronze coins the size of a fifty cent piece at depths of 15-16 inches in the most difficult mineralized ground and can reach down to 11-12 feet for larger objects or metal mass such as treasure chests, weapons, treasure caches, bronze, copper and even meteorites. This detector is the latest in technology developed in our research and development laboratory. We have incorporated the Auto Tune system and a Drop Gold Silver system to maximize performance when locating gold, silver or other precious metals. Five different coil configurations are available to tailor your particular type of hunting. For beach hunting we have bottle cap (the plague of detecting) reject capabilities. You will find it to be the most capable and powerful Pulse Induction detector on the market.
    Auto Tune System:
The new Deepers MF is very powerful and will surprise you with its efficiency. It is an easy to use detector with a semiautomatic tuning system that provides the detector with great stability that permits the user to maintain the chosen threshold tone level regardless of the ground conditions and mineralization. Solid and reliable in its indications, this professional detector by Deeper will give you satisfactory results in your search and in detecting metals, including deeply buried metal and particularly in searches involving gold and silver.
Normally Auto Tune capabilities as used with VLF detectors have been very difficult to regulate in Pulse Induction detectors and current pulse induction detectors on the market which incorporate this feature loose anywhere from 20-30% of detection depth. At Deepers we found that loss of detection depth to be unacceptable and set out to correct the problem. After a lot of research, developing prototypes and many field trials our engineers developed a completely innovative circuit which places us well ahead of our competition in this area. The new Deepers MF works on a frequency set by the user for smooth and stable threshold maintained by our trade mark semiautomatic tuning system (DYNAMIC/STATIC tracking mode). This allows increased accuracy of discrimination along with deeper penetration of the signal than any of our previous models or those of our competitors.
Memory System: When an extremely weak or deep signal is detected, continued sweeping of the coil over the area will energize the target and cause the detector to memorize the signal and augment the sound level with each new pass of the coil allowing for target location at extreme depths. Deepers MF is the only apparatus on the market to have this very useful feature and assists in the location of deep targets in relation to their respective volume. For example, a coin slightly larger than an inch in diameter will easily be detected around 15-16 inches and up to 18 inches with the new memory system exclusive to Deepers MF. An impossible task with any other pulse or VLF detector. A large deeply buried target can easily be found using the same technology with the bigger the target the deeper the capabilities of the Deepers to locate it.

Discrimination: Deepers MF 2008 is programmed to allow the operator to reject iron targets under the coil for the first 12-20 inches of depth. The circuitry will reject iron objects like horse shoes or iron scrap by illuminating the Rejection light. The metal detector will reject iron yet will easily recognize gold, silver, bronze and other non-ferrous metals. The depth of iron rejection is adjusted by the operator using the potentiometer (DISCRI) feature. This allows the operator to ignore surface or subsurface iron trash and allow concentration on deeper iron objects. The deeper iron objects are more than likely to have been placed at the deeper levels by someone trying to hide them, for example an iron pot full of coins, and iron bound chest or weapons. Meteorites are also found at great depths due to the high speed on impact and the amount of time that has passed since a meteorite fell.
Voltage Regulator for extended use: 12 to 16 hours of continuous use possible with the Gel-Cell 12V 4A battery fully charged. Taking into account rest breaks the battery should last from 18 to 22 hours. The external Gel-Cell battery can be changed out in a few seconds with another fully charged battery extending the hunting time to several days before needing to head back for a recharge. The Gel-Cell 12V 4A battery can be found at most electronics or battery stores.
Battery Charge Indicator: The red diode located to the left of the bar of LOW BATT illuminates when approximately 1/4 charge time is left, approximately the 3-4 O'clock position on the battery meter. As the power level decreases the diode progressively glows brighter and finally a loud tone will sound an alarm indicating that the battery is nearly spent. At this time the battery should be recharged or changed out for a fully charged battery.

Complete assortment of detector coils to meet the needs of each detectorist and to match the ground conditions of the hunted site.
The Deepers MF includes a complete "selection" of various size and type of detector coils to meet the needs of the particular mode of detection or to handle various ground conditions. Available are the Planar mono coil, an elliptical coil measuring 10 inches x 13 inches (comes standard with the detector) capable of depths to 4 feet and beyond on large targets, the wand for searching walls and tight places, the Planar DD Litz technology coil for gold, silver and precious metal prospecting in highly mineralized ground, the tubular hyper sensitive 21 inches x 10 inches (the biggest hand held on the market) capable of reaching depths of over 6 feet on large metal targets and finally the 40 inch by 40 inch frame coil for easy ground penetration on large targets up to 3.5 meters/ 12 feet or more.
View our webpage: The different detector coils for Deepers MF Multi Frequency detector
The PLANAR mono coil comes as standard equipment with the basic Deepers MF 2008 package.
This new PLANAR mono elliptical coil size 10 inches x 13 inches is very light, powerful and sturdily built with welded edges. It weighs only 14.5 ounces (less than a pound). It is only 3/4 inch thick, hence the name PLANAR. A powerful general use coil for searching objects at depths of 4 to 5 feet depth. Actual tests in non mineralized ground show this coil able to easily detect a Centenario (Mexican gold 50 peso coin) at more than 14 inches. A twelve ounce soda can is easily picked up at over 2 feet and any metal mass of 14 inches x 14 inches can be located at over 4 feet.
    Planar DD Litz Coil (optional)
These detector coils are the newest generation of double spool (DD) wired with Litz coil technology, making them very stable over highly mineralized or polluted ground. These coils are designed especially for use in prospecting for gold and silver nuggets in mineralized ground where gold and precious metals are found. Also useful for locating ancient coins and artifacts in mineralized ground. Discrimination is more accurate and the detector operation is much smoother using the Litz DD technology than other coils in mineralized ground. This coil is also good for locating large metal masses buried deep in mineralized ground.
New Hypersensitive coil 21 inches x 10 inches (optional)
This large tubular Hypersensitive coil, the largest on the market can detect an important metal object over 6 feet in the ground. It can pick up a signal in a 20 inch periphery around a target so there is no need to be directly over the target to get a signal. A very practical capability to allow detection under a rock, tree or other object by working up to the object and not needing to pass directly over it to find the treasure buried underneath. It is a light coil but very sturdily made of reinforced PVC and able to withstand the rigors of detecting and the associated banging of the coil against trees or rocks with no damage. A great coil when extreme depth is required and space is limited.
40 inch by 40 inch frame coil, (optional): This powerful coil can be used by one person, two persons or mounted on a PVC sled to cover large areas of ground on very deep and large targets. Ideal for buried chests, deep veins of precious metals or in the hunt for meteorites.
Hand Held Wand Coil (optional): Ideal for the thorough search of walls, voids, under houses, in attics and other tight or hard to reach places.
The availability and variety of all these detection coils will satisfy any detecting need from coin or relic shooting of small targets up to 20 inches in depth, searching walls and voids, gold nugget prospecting or the largest and deepest treasure caches. Nothing is out of reach!

Cache of silver located with Deepers just a few days ago. (See video in the Summary). Dozens of detectors passed over this known area of treasure without locating the cache. The Deepers easily located it at over 28 inches deep using the New Hypersensitive coil and the Deepers MF set at a frequency of 950 Hertz.

Reading the Deepers Blurb. ROFLMAO Multi Frequency it AINT!!

What is IS is a PI that can be adjusted to have a PRR (pulse repetition rate). Because the frequency can be changed They are jumping on the banned wagon (yes I know) and calling it MF. By the same token then the XLT is MF as it can operate at 6 different frequencies, though not all at the same time.

Nice marketing. It wouldn't pass trading standards in the UK as it would qualify as misrepresentation.

Memory system = dymnamic threshold. Nothing new there. It's called ratchet pinpointing and Whites have been using it for around 16 years!

Get a Goldscan with a 1MX1M coil, you wont beat it

      How many models are there?

Have you noticed how deepers has a new model number/designation every 6 months? Why do you suppose that is? Multifrequency, yeah right. Looks like a toy! BTW, what is "rejet". Do I need kerosene to run it?

yes .......Seems to lack some ground balance controls. but i noted a this unit has a high pulse width and a short sampling delay........
PULSE STAR II was specifically designed to detect large metal objects at great depths. Since the detector can be operated with very large search coils (standard size: 1m x 1m = 40" x 40") and transmits high power pulses, it penetrates deeper than usually possible with smaller coils. In addition, large areas can be searched more quickly with bigger coils. Small metal pieces like bottle caps or foils are automatically ignored. A wide range of accessory coils also makes it possible to locate smaller objects. Any kind of metal can be detected. For objects larger than 10 cm (4") a conductivity measurement determines whether the object has good conductivity (e.g. silver) or poor conductivity sorry for a long wait to reply.........i never do that in future ..rajesh

Hello I am Maikel from Cuba, I had studied a lot about metal detectors and I had built the gary pulse 2 project and it work perfectly in ground. The Deepers detector is a pulse induction type, that is based on a frech technology and the pulse star II pro is from Germany. They are good metal detectors PI but, all about they are not truth, for example in Cuba exist a type of ground that is red color (to much ferrum) and all detectors are affected considerably, some special coils work a lot good and very low frequencies ex 47 , 66, 100 HZ etc.

The deepers MF uses between 450 to 950 HZ, these frequency range in the red ground of my town may not work very well by the very hight level of mineral. I am sure of that.

look Rajesh if you really like a good detector for finding burreid treasures or relics or others you can use a good Pulse induction detector tested really in the ground in all types of ground as posssible with good balance for search, may be the Deepers MF is a good posibility but think that is very expensive for Hooby. I recommend you build the Deepers 8AT with the hypersensitive coil and others coils as possible for work in all grounds. I have some experience with the detectors and I am sure that I speaking to you the correct.
Remember the market propaganda with the products because sometimes the quality that they are speaking is false.

About the discrimination, is only valid for 30 cm deep maximun in the best of cases. No guarantee on it, because a treasure sometimes are in ferrum Box or others metals and if you discriminate it you can lost the opotunity of find a treasure.

Finally I recommend you detect all metals for find all.

                      The detector:
You can make the Deepers 8AT or the Pulse 2 from Chemelec. These are cheap projects but finally are good. May Be a stable and powerfull two box may help you to find a deep treasure too.

If you have any doubt this is my email: [email protected], [email protected]

                      Good hunting...

Actually, all PIs are multi-frequency ;-)
                        A pulse contains multiple frequencies.

                        In fact,
it wont be a bad idea to take 64 or 256 samples of the decay curve and carry out Fourier transform
                        and then categorise the target.
Any one with a spare DSP and a fast 14 (or more bits) ADC?

I has been read you comtents about Deepers MF, really I don't know why in this forum somebody don't put the schematics of Deepers MF or Deepers 2x1, I saw in last days some info about Deepers 8AT, the schematics is in geotech forum schematics. A member of this forum say that the Deepers 8AT and MF are the same with some trick, I don't think so. I am sure that Deepers MF have some internal changes. May be the difference between these two version of Deepers are not significant. I can tell you something. The efficacy of the Deepers Detectors are in the receiver circuit, Deepers amplify very strong the received signal, ex if the metal object is deep the circuitry of the receiver aplify this feable reply various times. Look carefully the schematics of Deepers 8AT and you will see what I am speaking.

May be Deepers is one the best and serious metal detector for treasure and ancient relics hunting.

I built the Gary Pulse 2 and it work great, very sensible and easy to make and it works very good, I am using it actually for hunting and I have the idea to built Deepers 8AT too in the futurebecause I live in Cuba and the components electronics are difficult to get.

Ohh something that may be you don't know. Nothing metal detector detect gold inside iron or other metal Box. I don't like discrimination for this reason, because you can lost a treasure burried in a iron box if you discriminate. I had tested it and you can beleave me.

                          Good look

you may think that sometimes the wonders are propaganda of the manufacturers. No all is true. I really doubt the dept that they says. All detectors are afected in some way for the minerals of the grund because they produce false signals ex the red ground with very much iron. I had tested this too and in very low freq about 100 HZ. Sometimes is imposible to cancelate complete the ground noise.
