  • Mosfet switching noise

My Mosfets produce a lot of switching noise.
Is there a way to reduce this noise?
Are there more modern Mosfets that produce less noise?
Any input would be much appreciated

Do they produce noise only during switching?
If so, try to replace them with slower transition type. Propably the harmonic content is high - a possible solution to that is to use termination resistors to reduce pulse reflections and match impedance (120-170 Ω will be fine).

My main point here is that we have some sharp edges that by definition have high frequency components that appear as noise. If we use higher bandwidth amplifiers, we see more of this noise.
We must try to much the impedance in the input line in order to minimize noise.

        Mosfet switching noise

For the PI detector we want the fastest switching that we can get, but then we also get this high frequency noise at switch on and switch off.
This noise gets carried over 1 or 2 uS and blankets or distorts the signal.
A significant reduction of the noise would result in a significant improvement in target signal detection.
