treasure ace 300 fre. & depth

Hi all
got another question about my machine
I dont get great depth(4 or 5 inches) and it just doesnt like nickels
I was out yesterday for 9 hours and got 19 quarters, 110 dimes, 88 pennies and 3 nickels.
this is pretty normal for me I know Im walking over nickels and gold.
does any one know the freq. of this machine?
I havent had luck finding out( I really dont know where to look.)
could it be changed to around 15khz? would this help?
any ideas to increase depth?

Not sure if this is related, but years ago I had a Garrett Freedom 3. It was great with high conductivity targets(like dimes and pennies) but 4-5 inches was all it would do on nickels. I had bought it used and thought it may have had a problem. I called the factory and they assured me that depth was about right. Traded it off a long time ago. I do miss the feel of that detector though. It was very confortable to grip.
