Anyone who wants to build Volkstrum can have mine modiffication. Easy to make.
OO Coil best type for this detector 17cm 100 turns. BOTH shielded and grounded at Rx (ground). For meter use anything.

Very frustrating project. First time I made a Volkstrum Sm I used a Michaels Coil dubl d. (80 turns of 0.35 mm of wire). Suprisingly it woked well without oscilloscope. Just measure smallest possible Rx voltage.
You must use different transistor instead KT315. Put 2N3926 instead. I do think that you can use any kind of number of wire on this one. Just be sure to put those transistors. It won't work without them.
Battery is a problem with Volk. It drains quickly if not properly tuned. Always check that. Meter can be anything. Doesn't have to be one with the middle.
